Wicked Auto Films Window Tint Film Removal
Film Removal in Lowell, AR
Bubbling, purple, peeling, or too dark for the ticket you just got. Taking it off is its own job.
Old film does not peel off in a sheet. It tears, it leaves adhesive, and the wrong method on a rear window takes the defroster lines with it — which is a repair nobody can do afterwards.
It is charged by the hour because how long it takes depends entirely on what is on there and how long it has been baking. We will give you a range before we start.
What it is not
- It is not included in a new tint job. Stripping old film is labour on top, and a quote that pretends otherwise is a quote that changes on the day.
- It is not a fixed price. An eight-year-old cheap film on a rear window is a very different afternoon from a two-year-old one on a door.
When people need this
It has gone purple
Cheap dyed film fades to purple and then bubbles. It cannot be rescued, only replaced.
You got a ticket
An order to strip the film means stripping the film. We can take it off and put something legal back on in the same visit.
You bought the car like that
The ticket follows the vehicle, not whoever fitted it. If you have just bought something suspiciously dark, get it measured.
The wrap has done its time
Vinyl comes off — usually cleanly. How cleanly depends on the paint underneath, and we will say so before we start.
