Wicked Auto Films Window Tint Windshield Tint

Windshield Tint in Lowell, AR

Clear heat-rejection film being worked across the full curve of a car windscreen. The glass stays light and the cabin is plainly visible through it.

The biggest piece of glass on the car, the one the sun comes through, and the one most shops will not touch.

A windshield is most of the heat. It is also the pane with the tightest law and the hardest install — a single curved sheet with no seams allowed, which is why plenty of shops quietly skip it.

What goes on is a clear or near-clear ceramic film. You will not see it. You will feel the difference on the drive home in August.

What it is not

  • It is not a dark windshield. What Arkansas allows across the whole pane is measured on the glass and the film together, and there is no version of this that makes your windshield look tinted.
  • It is not the strip across the top. That is a separate job and a separate price; both are below.

Why bother with the windshield

It is where the heat comes in

Tinting the sides and leaving the windshield is like closing three of four windows. The big pane facing the sun is doing most of the work against you.

It is invisible

Clear ceramic rejects infrared without changing how the glass looks. Nobody can tell, including anyone who might care.

It protects the dash

A cracked dash is UV through the windshield over years. Film takes it.

The strip is separate, and cheap

A non-reflective brow at the top, cut to the AS-1 line, kills low sun for $75 on its own.
