Privacy Policy

What this website collects, why, and how to ask for it back or gone.

Effective date: September 22, 2026.

Wicked Auto Films, LLC runs this website to let people ask about tint, paint protection film, ceramic coating and vinyl for their vehicle. This policy explains what the site collects when you use it, why, and how to have your details deleted if you change your mind.

The shop is a small business in Lowell, Arkansas, owned by Curt Coenen. Curt is the person responsible for the data this site collects, and the person who answers questions about it — the shop responds to enquiries the same day.

What this site collects

Stated from the code, not from a template.

  • A cookie recording your cookie choice. One cookie, named cookie_consent, holding the word “accept” or “decline”. It is set server-side and marked HTTP-only, so no script on this page can read it. It lasts a year.
  • Whatever you type into the booking form. The vehicle, the film and coverage you are after, your phone number, and anything you add in the message box. It is stored so the shop can quote the job and reach you about it.
  • A session cookie while you are using a form, which is what stops somebody else submitting it on your behalf. It disappears when you close the browser.

What it does not collect

  • No analytics are running today. Google Analytics is in scope for the site (§3.4) and is not installed. When it is, it will not load until you have accepted cookies — that gate is already built and is what your choice above controls.
  • No advertising or tracking pixels. None.
  • No payment details. Nothing is sold on this website. Payment for a job is taken at the shop, in cash or on card, or through Zelle or Venmo — none of those touch this site.
  • The Google map is the one third party on this site, and it does not load at all until you accept cookies.

Why we collect it

Everything on the list above exists for one of two reasons:

  • To answer your enquiry and quote your job. A phone number, the vehicle, and what you are asking for — without these, we cannot get back to you or price the work.
  • To make the site work safely. The session cookie stops form submissions being forged. The consent cookie remembers your choice so you are not asked on every page.

Once you have booked, we may text you the day before the appointment to remind you, and the day after to invite a review. Both are optional to answer — reply STOP to either and we will not send that kind of message again.

Who we share it with

Nobody. Booking enquiries are read by the shop and used by the shop. They are not sold, rented, or handed to a third party for marketing.

The website is hosted on a server the shop pays for; the hosting company holds the data on disk in the same sense any hosting company does, and cannot read it in the normal course of running the server.

If we are ever required to disclose information by a court order or a lawful request from a US authority, we will.

How long we keep it

Booking enquiries are kept for up to 24 months from the day they arrive, then deleted. This is long enough to cover a job that books months after the first message, plus a follow-up window, and short enough that we are not sitting on old phone numbers forever.

Within that window: a quote we send you is valid for two weeks. If we do not hear back we may follow up once about a week later, and once more after that. If you would rather we did not chase, say so — on the enquiry, or in reply to the first message — and we will close the record.

Cookies expire on their own — the consent cookie after a year, the session cookie the moment you close your browser.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • See what we hold about you. Typically the booking enquiry you sent, and nothing else.
  • Correct it. If a phone number is wrong or a vehicle detail is off, we will fix it.
  • Delete it. We remove your enquiry from the shop's records.
  • Withdraw your cookie consent. Set your browser to clear cookies for this site, or return here and decline — the map and any future analytics will stop loading.

To do any of the above, contact the shop — the two channels are printed at the bottom of this page. Requests are handled by Curt directly.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS. Booking enquiries live in the shop's database on its own server — not on a shared spreadsheet or a mail folder anyone can search. Only the shop signs in to the admin, and admin pages are behind a password.

No system is perfect. If we ever discover a breach that involves personal information belonging to Arkansas residents, we will notify affected people and the Attorney General as required by Arkansas law (Ark. Code §4-110-105).

Children

This is a car-detailing website. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If a parent believes their child has sent us an enquiry, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the site collects or uses information, we update this page and move the effective date at the top. There is no mailing list, so we cannot tell you individually — check back if it matters.

How to reach us about your details

Call (479) 519-9741 or email wickedautofilms@gmail.com and say what you would like us to do. Curt handles these directly and will reply the same day where possible.
