Wicked Auto Films Window Tint Fayetteville

Window Tint in Fayetteville

A tinter working film onto a car's door glass, a heat gun in one hand and a squeegee in the other. The steering wheel and door card are clearly visible through the film.

Dark enough to be worth doing, light enough to see out of on an unlit road at night.

Fayetteville drivers do more night driving on unlit roads than most of the corridor, and that is the one case where going as dark as the law allows can be the wrong answer.

Night visibility is a real trade-off

Tint darkens the world through the front side windows as well as blocking heat. On a lit street that is nothing. On an unlit road, reversing out of a space, or checking a junction in the rain, it is noticeable — and it is the complaint people have after the fact, not before.

Arkansas allows a minimum light transmission on the front doors. Going right to that limit is legal. Whether it suits how you drive is a separate question, and it is worth asking before the film is cut rather than after.

What the law actually permits

The limits differ by window and by whether you drive a sedan or a truck. The table for all four positions is on our Arkansas window tint law page.

What tint is genuinely good at

  • Cutting the heat in a car parked outdoors all day, which no amount of air conditioning can do
  • Reducing glare on a long southbound run into low sun
  • Slowing the fading of a dashboard and seats
  • Privacy for whatever is on the back seat
