Ceramic Coating in Rogers

Rogers cars do a lot of short trips and spend a lot of time in open car parks. Both of those are dirt: brake dust, road film, tree sap in the spring and whatever the car park surface throws at the lower panels.

A coating changes the cleaning, not the car

The honest way to describe a ceramic coating is that it changes your relationship with washing the car. Water beads and sheets off instead of clinging, dirt has less to hold onto, and what took an hour takes considerably less.

The gloss is real too, but most of that comes from the correction underneath. A coating is transparent — it seals in the condition of the paint at the moment it is applied, good or bad.

Why the polish matters more than the bottle

Every swirl mark in your paint is a scratch catching light. Polishing removes them; a coating then protects the corrected surface. Apply a coating to unpolished paint and you have preserved the swirls for the life of the coating.

Be clear what it does not do

It will not stop a stone chip. It will not stop a trolley. It resists chemicals and makes cleaning easier — that is the job.
